I’m just a guy with a full-time job who fell in love with the idea of working with opal. What started as a hobby I wasn’t sure I could afford quickly turned into a passion, thanks to a few generous connections in the Australian opal community. They helped me get my hands on quality rough and made it possible to follow this urge.

Before long, I was drawn to other crystals and stones as well, leading me to Donghai, China — one of the world’s largest crystal hubs. As my collection and skills grew, I realized I could share these beautiful pieces with others without breaking the bank, while keeping the part I love most: working with the stones.
